Ms. Nadira Chaturvedi serves as an Independent Director of Omax Autos Limited.
Born on 3rd September 1950 in Belgaum, she brings decades of diverse experience
spanning business management, education, and social development.
She holds a B.Sc. degree from Belgaum, Karnataka, and an MBA from Indian
Institute of Management Ahmedabad. Over the years, she has managed small and
medium-sized enterprises as a Director and entrepreneur across a wide range of
industries, including electronics, automobile components, engineering goods,
plastics, fashion garments, retail, manufacturing, and exports.
Ms. Chaturvedi is currently engaged in social work and teaching. She has been
associated as a Professor of Business Management Studies at Fostiima Business
School, Dwarka, New Delhi, for over a decade. She is also an active volunteer
with CanSupport, contributing to cancer care initiatives.
Her primary focus has been on promoting education and reading among
underprivileged communities through her family-led NGO, Aseem’s Library
(registered as Aseem Charitable Education Trust). Through its network of
library-cum-creative learning centres across Delhi—including locations such as
Mehrauli, Okhla, and Kashmiri Gate—the initiative provides non-formal education
and life skills to thousands of underprivileged children and adults, including
neo-literates and vulnerable groups.
Her work has had a meaningful social impact, particularly in supporting education
for families affected by cancer and helping disadvantaged youth develop a more
positive outlook toward life.
