At OMAX, we take communication seriously and believe that proper communication is the key to a healthy work-life balance.
Our online communication forum-our in-house Intranet- MyOMAX, is a platform where our employees can not only gather the latest happenings and information about the company but is also a tool to express their ideas and opinions freely. We also have our newsletter – INFOMAX published by-yearly to inform our stakeholders of the latest news and updates about our products and the organisation.
Our off-line forums are conducted on monthly, bi-monthly and quarterly intervals to keep our employees informed about our the development of the organisation. At OMAX, we know that these forums are an important part of the learning experience and therefore encourage our employees to express their thoughts, learn from others and also ask questions and discuss things that might be completely new to them.
Our various off-line forums are
Group Leaders Conclave: Organised every quarter, the Group Leadership Conclave comprises of top leadership team- corporate heads, SBU heads and unit heads. The main motive behind this conclave is to discuss & review strategies if the last quarter as well as plans polices and ways to implement for the next quarter.
Plant Leadership Conclave:Address by Plant Head to all employees across the units in order to equip them with essential information and engage them in the workplace at large as employees feel more engaged. In this forum we help employees understand their departments’ goals and how their work fits into the big picture.
Team Involvement, active participation by all employees, effective listening, clear and timely communication is the main motive for this forum.
Town Hall Communication
A part of the quarterly forum, Tall Hall Communication is addressed by the Plant Head to all employees across the units in order to equip them with essential information and engage them in the workplace at large as employees feel more engaged.
The goal of a Town Hall communication is more than just the presentation of company information. It is mainly about encouraging dialogue between managers and employees, so that everyone feels connected to the organisation. It gives employees an opportunity to make their voice heard and be part of the company.
Reward and Recognition
At OMAX, we encouraging our employees to do their best and believe that every employees should be motivated and encouraged so that they put their best foot forward. When employees and their work are valued, their satisfaction and productivity rises, and they are motivated to maintain or improve their good work.
In order to keep the motivation level high of OMAXians, we have initiated the Reward and Recognisation forum where OMAXians are awarded on their extraordinary performances and talent.
